Concert Hall
The intimacy and excellent acoustics of the Thomasville Cultural Center’s 500-seat auditorium make it an exceptional venue for the TEF concert series. Listed in the National Register of Historic Places, the Center is housed in the former East Side School, constructed in 1915 and restored in 1986 as a home for the visual and performing arts.

Parking
Ample free parking is available in the Center’s adjacent parking lot, accessed from the 600 block of East Jackson Street (US Bus. 319), between Hansell Street and Glenwood Drive. A Cultural Center marquee marks the entrance to the parking lot. See Driving Directions and map below.

Handicap Accommodation

Driving Directions:

From Tallahassee, FL
	From I-10, travel north on Thomasville Road / US-319 for 27.5 miles to Thomasville city limits. Continue straight-ahead 2.4 miles on Jackson Street (Bus.-319). Look for Cultural Center marquee and parking lot entrance on your left (just beyond Hansell Street intersection).

 

From Atlanta / Albany

• From Atlanta, take I-75 South toward Macon. Use I-475 to bypass Macon. Continue past Cordele on I-75 South and exit onto GA-300 South to Albany. • From Albany, follow GA-300 / US-19 South to Thomasville. Approaching Thomasville, do not turn off at US-319 Truck Route, but continue south on US-19. Turn right on East Jackson Street (Bus.-319) and travel 1.9 miles. Look for Cultural Center marquee and parking lot entrance on your right (one-half block beyond Glenwood Drive intersection).

 

From Montgomery, AL / Columbus / Albany

• From Montgomery, take I-85 North and US-280 East to Columbus, GA. (Bypass Columbus using signs to I-185 South). • From Columbus, follow GA-520 East (US-280 and US-82 East) to Albany. • From Albany, follow US-19 / GA-300 South to Thomasville. Approaching Thomasville, do not turn off at US-319 Truck Route, but continue south on US-19. Turn right on East Jackson Street (Bus.-319) and travel 1.9 miles. Look for Cultural Center marquee and parking lot entrance on your right (one-half block beyond Glenwood Drive intersection).

 

From Jacksonville, FL / Gainesville, FL / Valdosta

• From Jacksonville, follow I-10 West and I-75 North toward Valdosta. • From Gainesville, follow I-75 North toward Valdosta. • From Valdosta, take US-84 West (GA-38) to Quitman and Thomasville. Approaching Thomasville, turn right at US-19 / GA-300 and continue north 1.7 miles. Turn left at East Jackson Street (Bus.-319) and travel 1.9 miles. Look for Cultural Center marquee and parking lot entrance on your right (one-half block beyond Glenwood Drive intersection).

 

From Tifton / Moultrie
	From Tifton and Moultrie, take US-319 South (GA-35) to Thomasville. Approaching Thomasville, do not turn off on US-319 Truck Route, but continue straight-ahead toward downtown. After crossing US-19, proceed on East Jackson Street (Bus.-319) for 1.9 miles. Look for Cultural Center marquee and parking lot entrance on your right (one-half block beyond Glenwood Drive intersection).

 

From Bainbridge / Cairo
	Take US-84 East (GA-38) toward Thomasville. At fork in highway just beyond Ochlocknee River bridge, continue straight-ahead and follow signs to downtown Thomasville via Cairo Road and Madison Street (Bus.-84 / 38). Turn left on Jackson Street (Bus.-319) and proceed 0.6 mile. Look for Cultural Center marquee and parking lot entrance on your left (just beyond Hansell Street intersection).

 

From Monticello, FL
	Follow US-19 North to East Jackson Street (Bus.-319). Turn left at East Jackson Street and travel 1.9 miles. Look for Cultural Center marquee and parking lot entrance on your right (one-half block beyond Glenwood Drive intersection).
